In this episode of “The Simpsons” Homer saves Mr. Burns from a hot air balloon. As a reward Mr. Burns pays for Homer to go to a football game. At the game they have the audience camera set up. People dance and they show Bart as “the party poopy”. Homer tickles him and on camera in front of the entire audience Bart pees his pants and becomes very embarrassed. At that point, they opened the roof of the stadium to dry his pants which winds up being showed on the news. Marge then believes that this destroys her son’s self esteem. She then believes it to be a good idea to enroll Homer in a fathering class called fresh start. Here he must keep a fathering journal. He admits to strangling Bart and the man in charge of the meeting gets mad. Homer says that “that’s how he was raised” and has a flashback to when he strangled his own dad because of poor grades. At this meeting the man running it makes Homer feel how Bart does when he gets strangled by having others strangle him. It shows how Bart feels small and powerless. This makes Homer say that he will never strangle Bart again. Then Homer says he doesn’t have health insure and then the man in charge of meeting says that Homer is miraculously cured. Bart then antagonizes Homer by throwing eggs in front of a fan but when he goes to hurt Bart but Homer then imagines the guy strangling him instead and stops. Bart then gets control of Homer and even takes the tractor to school. Marge then goes to Dr. Zanger and tells him that treatment is too effective and that Bart has become a bully. She asks for his help to treat Bart.
They have a session together in the woods. While they are there Homer is blindfolded and Bart tells him the direction to move in but he directs him into cactus. Then homer jumps off a tree to hang himself and Bart is meant to feel bad and cut the rope but instead he doesn’t really care. The therapist becomes upset with Bart and strangles him. Bart cuts homer out of the tree and homer stops the therapist from strangling Bart. Meanwhile Marge and Lisa stay at home, paint each other’s nails and watch sad, girly movies.
